Curriculum vitae

Mette Bock was born on 26 July 1957 in Gladsaxe, Denmark. She is the daughter of former member of the Danish Parliament, Ole Samuelsen, Associate Professor, MA and Anna Holm, Inspector. She is married to Hans Jørn Bock, Senior Lecturer at a teacher training college. The couple has three children and four grandchildren.

Political career

Minister for Culture and Minister for Ecclesiastical Affairs since 28 November 2016.

Member of the Presidium of the Danish Parliament since 3 July 2015.

Formerly spokesperson for foreign affairs, spokesperson for development, spokesperson for ecclesiastical affairs, spokesperson for agriculture. 

Member of the Foreign Policy Committee    

Member of parliament for Liberal Alliance for the constituency of Southern Jutland since 15 September 2011.

Candidate for Liberal Alliance in all nomination districts in the constituency from 2010.
